Terms of Service

All funds added to a Production Account are deposits credited toward your documentary film project. Deposits are non-refundable once made. Your account balance does not expire as long as True Life Documentaries remains in operation, and you retain full access to your account and accumulated credits at any time.

Upon reaching a cumulative balance of $300, your Production Account unlocks a Creative Development Session with an Executive Producer and entry into the preproduction phase. Subsequent production and postproduction milestones are determined by the project scope and installment plan you select with our team.

Account holders receive cloud storage and platform perks (including educational content, masterclasses, and planning tools) that scale with their contributions. These perks are provided as an added benefit of your account and are separate from, and not a substitute for, the documentary film project itself. Perks and features may be added, modified, or expanded over time at our discretion.

We provide flexible, collaborative revisions within each active production milestone until you are satisfied with that phase of your project. Changes that materially alter the original creative brief, or that revisit a previously approved and completed milestone, may be subject to standard hourly creative rates, which will be disclosed before any such work begins.

Paid Memberships are separate, optional subscriptions that provide additional storage and perks. Reaching the $300 Production Account milestone automatically grants Elite Member status, which includes benefits equal to or greater than our top paid Membership tier, linked to your Production Account under a single profile.

In the event of a change in business ownership, structure, or control, customer accounts, balances, and the benefits described in these Terms will transfer to the successor entity under the same terms.

Your account balance is never subject to inactivity or dormancy fees, regardless of how long your account remains unused.

True Life Documentaries will make commercially reasonable efforts to safeguard all client materials, footage, and data. We are not liable for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of your account after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
